I initially thought it was a registry problem so I went to seek solving that first. Apparently updating ‘repairs’? After a reboot I thought I was done but my Total Security antivirus notified me of a Windows Update from for some reason never told me about that update before, nor did the Windows Update tool itself. I proceeded to install it with no issue and then rebooted my computer. That’s it really, not too sure of anything specific, but it worked.
If it’s anything to mention, I had already done Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragment that Arul suggested above since I do those in that order every now and then to keep the computer in top shape. If this hasn’t worked for any other that have this problem, I highly suggest looking into the other two areas which could cause this problem: third-party conflict and then malware malware problems are rarer, I’m sure.
