Irritated with the sad accident of a Cheetah helicopter in Arunachal Pradesh this week that prompted the demise of Lt Colonel Saurabh Yadav and wounds to his co-pilot, a casual Armed force spouses bunch has sent a letter to Head of the state Narendra Modi requesting the fast substitution of the maturing armada.
The Indian Armed force Spouses Fomentation Gathering, that appeared in 2014 when they began a web-based request for substitution of the Cheetah and Chetak armada of helicopters following an accident that killed three Armed force officials.
The letter to Modi named the choppers as “flying final resting places”.
Do the military officials and their families not reserve the option to live in an India that gives safe flying machines to its pilots to protect the country?” the letter inquired.
It expressed that for quite a long time, cheetah and chetak has been the foundation of the turning wing of three military administrations.
