New Delhi:According to a statement made by the police today, a 25-year-old native of Bihar was detained by the authorities in Chandigarh for allegedly strangulating to death an 18-year-old school student at her residence in Burail.

When the 18-year-old victim learned that he was married, she stopped talking and refused to entertain him.According to the police, enraged by this, the man allegedly killed her.
